Megacab Interior

Why is it that Dodge would bring out a Megacab which seats 6 comfortably but make it impossible for the middle guy up front to put his feet on the floor?

Has anyone thought about removing the floor mounted cup holders/console and installing the flip down cup holders? I would think that the flip down cup holders could be retro fitted.

I need seating for six not five and a guy with no legs.

The problem with that thought is there are air ducts underneath the floor console that channel air to two rear vents........I for one like the flip down cupholder's much better than the floor console.....but you can only get the flip downs with the sprts package....which as of this time is not offered with the maga cab yet.

Thats why I chose the true center console option. Figured I wouldn't let someone sit in the middle with their feet on the floor console so I deleted the center seat altogether.

God, those megacabs are uuuugggly!
When that redesigned F250 came out I thought I'd seen it all.
No surprise I've seen about ten of them on the road since release!
I expect to see even less of that megaturd!

Mega Cab

Those people that want and need the room to seat 5-6 people regularly and need the ability to tow heavy loads, then this is a great truck. It's all in what you want. All to seldom people today buy trucks cause of what they look like, if you can put 24" spinners on it. You'll find most of the people here have tons of knowledge and know how and will help you in anyway, and also buy trucks based on functionality, engine life, ect. Also posting something that really dosn't have anything to do with the question isn't very helpful to the people that are posting. This is a great site, we gota keep it that way.

I personally don't know how the new interior works on the mega cab, but I have had those molded in cup holders on my chevy S-10. I guess it's the way there built and the way the shifter works (at least on the S-10). I know somewhere they have the thing that hangs off of your center console, but I forget where it's at. I still wanna get in one of these mega cabs and see how much room there actually is. I sat in the back of my truck the other day to see how big it was (quad cab) and I could fit in there no problem so it's good for the kids when we have them.
