Mega Cab a/c problems AGAIN!

my dads 06 mega cab is having issues again with the ac. bout a year ago we could not select between front vents/ defrost ect. this is the blend door correct? now this ime i can select between the different settings but it will only blow hot air. the compressor turns on and the lines get cold but no cold air/ when i go from hot to cold it seems to change barely. it gets a little hotter when i turn it.

this is getting rediculous! i just replaced the steering box last thursday and then the ac goes out on saturday! its stupid hot here in Arizona i need ac. thanks

shouldnt the air at least be blowing cooler than the outside temp if the a/c lines are cold?

Is the air temp on both sides the same or is the drivers side cooler then the pax side.

That blend door is a piece of crap. I am on my 4th one. It breaks so much I bought the extended warranty before it ran out.

My guess would be blend doors, too. The blend doors dictate how much of the air flow goes through the heater core, and how much goes around.

You could try putting a valve in the heater hose, and if it then blows cold air with the valve closed, I'd think that would have narrowed it down.
