Master list of starscan options

Does anyone have a full list of the different options the dealer can change with the starscan tool?

What I know of....
Hi idle (most already know of it)
Accessory Delay...Allows radio to be played for up to 1hr w/out key

What I've heard of....
Tap the turn signal & it flashes 3x...useful for lane changes

There's gotta be more!

The list changes from year to year and in some cases by part # Some options are moved from one controller to another as well.

On my 2006 you can have day time running lights, your head lights turned on once you put it in gear. BTW, my power on with key off can only stay on for 10 minutes, that was the max time they could set it for and I sure wish it could stay on longer.

I think that if you leave the lights on after you shut the truck off, then turn them off, they will stay on for a minute... like a delay. It does it on my wife's 03 hemi...

Intersting thread. On my 07 5.9 I have the following features:

1. Head lights stay on for a few minutes after shutting off the truck.
2. All doors unlock when you open front drivers door.
3. High Idle, have automatic trans.
4. Tap turn signal and get 3 blinks.
5. Accessories work for 5 or so minutes after turning truck off or till you open door.
I think that is all I actually have that are working now. Trying for another one below.

Taking truck in for service Thursday and will check on fogs with High beams as I drive & live in many very rural areas and deer are very plentiful, have dodged a few in the last 2 weeks.

Help!!!!

Truck is at the dealer for service, and I have asked for the manually controlled High Idle, and they say it cant be done, without 3 hours of labour, wiring, blah blah blah.... It is in my owners manual..."have your dealer activate this feature"

I would like the turn signal feature, and the accessory feature, for the power windows...

I have a 2006 MegaCab, with the Auto, so it should all work, riiiiiight?

Your dealer is dumb and sorely misinformed...yes they can do it and it takes 5 minutes, if that. They may still charge you for it (I paid 50) but its maybe the best 50 bucks Ive spent. I use high idle every single day of the year

Please let me know if they will do the fog w/high beams for you, that IS a very good one for seeing deer at night, would also like to get it if it works for you.

You can do that one yourself by jumping the relay in the fusebox

Run a search to two, someone on here has pix.

I jumped mine to the parking lights.

The high idle is used to keep the heater warm. The truck runs on 3 cylinders and the RPM`s are controlled through the cruise control switch.
