Question Making The Long Haul

Well this will be the true road test for the new Dodge! Detriot, Michigan to Tampa, Florida.
1200 miles in 18 hours if I'm lucky.
Just wanted to know if anyone had any tips to get the truck ready for a long trip? Thoughts-Ideas-Comments? In the past I have gotten about 20 mpg on highway trips (65 mph) much over that and it goes down fast!

Fill it up; leave the snowmobile boots home; take some sunscreen; have a blast.

You don't even have to drive it like you stole it.

Might take your wallet out of your pocket and toss it into the cubby at the start, about 4 hrs. into a trip my right cheek gets sore as heck from sitting on it with these seats. Never had that problem with any seat.

I live in Essex across the river. Pick me up on the way and I will let my wife pay for the fuel. Can't stand the weather although this past week has been nice. Drive safely and watch out for those Smokies.
