Lower 4X4

I want to pull a 5th wheel but my 4x4ctd it too high to pull a 5th wheel level. Rather than raise a trailer it seems it would make more sense to lower the truck. I don't need a high truck or a high trailer. Has anyone done it and/or can it be done? Thanks,

GJ

Trade it in for a 4x2. Or heighten the trailer.
Maybe run low profile tires on the truck?

Do a google search on klenger, he posted on how to flip spring spacers fromm bottom to top of springs, lowers rear a couple of inches, enough for my 5er's low pin weight.
