How to lower my 4x4....
I am new to this site but I have an 2005 ram 3500 DRW which I would like to lower 3 inches in the front 5 in the back I was wondering where I could go to buy lowering kits or can i do it with airbags. I like the lowered look not the slammed plus I wouldnt be able to do that because on the front axle. I just would like to know what to do where to go I am not cutting or heating up my front springs to do it. Ive learn through the years its not a good idea so lowering springs would be best. Please help I want the look before I install my alcoa 24

Heating the springs and letting them sag is a very bad idea.
But, cutting off a coil or two is a time honered hot rod tradition that - when done properly- works very well. Start by cutting off 1/4 coil at a time and see what you get. Tedious process, but almost free.
If you really want a new aftermarket spring, the only spring company I trust is Eibach.
The rear is a bit more of a challange. My first thought is to mount the springs under the axle, instead of on top. Again, a time honored hot rod tradition. Allows you to change pinion angle at the same time.
But, that might be a little more than you're after. I would call Eibach and ask about new springs with a reverse eye and a better rate. Be sure to ask about wedges for the pinion angle.

Air bags seems to be the most logical choice to me but maybe not the cheapest.
Since you are putting on 24's I'm assuming your putting on low profile tires because I had to install a 1.5" spacer in order for my 22's to fit on my 4 x 4 DRW

well here my thinking of the situation I would like to do the drop hangers in the back or flip kit for 5 inches once that done install the air bags. If i do just remove the springs in the back will i get my 5 inch reduction I already moved the 3 spacers to the top so now its leveled. what do u suggest do the drop hanger in the back or go airbags??? I am totally clueless about the front and yes im going low pro

The only way you'll drop the front 3" is by removing the front spring and welding the axle housing directly to the frame. There's only 1.5" between the housing and the bump stop in OEM form.
The dropped duallys are 2wd. This is why.

Nobody has mentioned how close the front axle is to the oil pan on the engine. I think that is why the front cannot be lowered and no one has a kit for it. Probably the reason the bump stops are so close to begin with.
