pull the electrical plug on the washer sensor, if the light goes out the sensor is bad.
The sensor has a float and if it fills with fluid it will ground out and light the "low fluid" lamp.

if the light doesn't go out, then it is probably the relay inside the TIPM.

My '06 was doing that as well. I was too busy to do anything about it and kept putting it off. While reading this thread I just realized that it is not lit anymore. It finally shut itself off on it's own.

$2.85 that I would never spend! Who needs a warning for that anyway? Are people honestly too stupid to check fluid level or to realize there is no more fluid coming out? The LAST thing I want is some stupid chime going off to tell me something I already know!

Can you be more specific? What and where is this part I can replace?

Mine has been on for about a year. Soon after starting, the alarm wil chime, and the warning messag shows on the odomoter. If you push the odometer button on the dash, it goes back to the odometer and stays there until the next time you start the engine. I unplugged the sensor at the resevoir, and that didn't change anything.

This really is no big deal, and I don't need an alarm to tell me when to add fluid. But I'm a little bit OCD, and it bugs me.

Take off the driver side wheel well, there is a plug twisted into the bottom of the washer fluid bottle. It is the sensor for the washer fluid bottle.
