Looking for a part number

I'm looking for a part number for the plastic bezel ring thing that holds the fabric on the inside lid of the center storage compartment. Basically its about 2" wide and forms the boarder around the inside lid and covers the latch to open and close the lid. I puckered mine up putting on the geno's cup holder so if anyone could help me out on a place to get one or a part number I would appreciate it very much. I called the dealer and they said I needed to get the whole lid assembly because they do not sell just the bezel piece.

I do not have a pic but I can try to post one tomorrow, if I can figure it out. It is part of the consol so if you lift up the lid and look at the insode of the lid it is the squar looking plastic trim piece that borders the inside of the consol lit and covers the latch mechanism. As I said I will try to post a pic because I don't think I can expain it right.

I hate to say it but the dealer is probably correct about having to buy the entire cover.

I had a problem with my 98 GM with the latch being sticky. Fortunatey it was under warranty and they had to replace the whole console, to the tune of $1500.

I would try an auto wrecker if the part isn't available.
