The black box that sits in front of the coolant reservoir is making one hell of a noise. So I unplugged it. Does anyone know what this is?

 

Tried another search and found my problem. My vacuum pump is making this god awful noise. Going out to see if I have a vacuum leak.

 

Found a wore spot in one of the hoses but plugged it with my finger and the noise didn't stop. Can I unplug this thing until I find out what the problem is? By the way the noise is continuous. I read another post where a fella said his would cut on and off.

 

OK after doing more searching I have found out why my cruise control don't work. Vacuum leaks. And the only thing I will affect by unplugging is the cc. 180,000 and never used it anyway. That **** ain't right.

Since it looks like you found the problem I don't have anything to add other then it does suck that you havde this problem but never use the cc.
