Liner in engine compartment

Gents:

The liner towards the back of the engine compartment is starting to fall down on my truck.

Is there a fix for it, as of now it rest on my heater hose?

Regards

If you mean the liner that is on the underside of the hood, it's held in place by black plastic plugs, at least on my 06 that's the case. I had the one towards the rear of the hood, in the middle, just fall out. Went to the dealer and bought a couple (one for spare) and just replaced the plug. So far so good.

I second Scott's comments. When I was installing my gauges, I noticed my liner was a bit loose. Luckily I was able to just push the plugs back in tight and they seem to be holding up so far.

I think the engines vibration and the cheap design just cause them to work loose over time.

Like EDR and SSandlin said. Get some new plastic retaining clips and wahers. If that does not work then try some 3M Headliner adhesive. Or get some aftermarket insulation and hang in the same spot.
