I have always thought this was an excellent idea ever since I saw Medicshawn's truck. For now, I am only running the power wagon flares. If the rockers start to get beat up to bad with rocks I will definately go back and have them sprayed with liner. My bed has a product called "Toff Liner" which seems to be fine. But I don't know if I will necessarily use it on the rockers.

Mine is white with the white lineX. There is a picture of it in my gallery.

I have silver Superliner in my truck bed and an the lower part of the truck body and for about an inch outline of the wheel wells. It looks like bright version of the Dodge silver two tone. Been there for nearly two years and 48k miles. No fade, chips or complaints. Haven't posted pics.

Great post jumpinj!

Those pics where what I was looking for as I have been thinking about this mod as well.

Is there a specific line-x color that I should reference? Is that just a flat black or?

Thanks!

Thanks for this post. I had already made up my mind to a degree, but with seeing your pics I know that this is what I am going to do. I am also going to add some ATS fender flares at the same time, so we will see how it turns out. Should be done in the next couple of months. I am going to use the same material as my bedliner, which is already sprayed, Premium One Bedliner. They are a lot like Line-X, but guranteed not to fade with time. They are also a local off-road store that I want to support. Thanks again Jumpinj!!

For awhile, there was talk of Line-X releasing a colormatch spray that wouldn't fade in the sunlight. Does anyone know if its available? This is what I'm waiting on to do the rocker panels. I hadn't thought of filling in the fenderflare gap with it though... bet it looks sweet.

Look around at the various manufacturers.. There are several companies that can match your color pretty close. You can also choose between flat and glossy finishes. Vortex comes to mind. ALso consider repairs, as some of the companies products cannot be repaired. While others can be re-sprayed without any problems.

As for the black rocker plates, just buy the shiny ones and have them powder coated.

I recently sold a 1996 powerstroke I had Reflex liner sprayed in the middle of the truck. It gave it a two tone look I loved it.
