Lights dim and brighten in cold??

Hey guys. I've had my 20005 2500 cummins for about 3 months now, and since it's gotten cold I've had a problem in the morning that the lights will dim for a minute or two, and then brighten up. It will do this for a few minutes probably about 10 minutes. Doesn't matter if I'm driving or if I'm sitting. Anyone have any idea what this could possibly be?

It worried me too the first time I saw it. I was disappointed when I traded the 96 for an 06 and it did the SAME THING. Oh well...dont mess with what isnt broken, eh?
