I know that they have the line of fire and fire and ice lights for the rear that mount between the tailgate and bumper, but does anyone know if they make a LED replacement light for the light that is already mounted on the center of the tailgate? Or maybe even a way of replacing the bulbs in that light with LEDs? If so, can you tell me where I can find them. I have searched extensively with no luck at all. I would be willing to modify the existing one if I have to. Any ideas or pics would be greatly appreciated.

 

Hers my plan. (i dont know if it will work) but i plan on taking on the the tailgate LED lights that RECON sells http://www.gorecon.com/product.php?p...D+Tailgate+Bar and removing the lense and replacing it with the stock lense. We shall see if it works.

 

Let me know if that works please. I'm also checking around to see if I can find some bulbs of that size that have LEDS in them. I seen some that were for tail lights.

 

Can the bulbs be pulled out of those marker lights? I got all my led bulbs at www.autolumination.com If they can you should be able to find what you need there with some diligent looking. Otherwise I would suggest a big truck chrome shop if you know where one is close by or even a truck stop like a Pilot probably has some leds lights (not bulbs) similar to the stock lenses just a matter of swapping out.

 

they are 914 bulb,i've changed mine several times.i'm going to be passing Champions truck stop in a few hours,i'll think they have them-they have a pretty good selection of lights.i'll let you know this afternoon
