Lamp Indicator - Dinging
Ok, so I've been unable to resolve the Lamp Out indicator, but the dinging is going to make me go postal. Is there an easy way to at least disable the ding?

I've replaced all the bulbs (though none were out) and I've checked for plug cleanliness/connection.
I'm going to try Dielectric tonight, but I'd rather not hear it all day (off and on)...

I had the same problem and everyone told me that it was the taillight bulbs and I replaced all the bulbs and used the dielectric grease etc. It did not help the problem I repeatadly disconnected both batteries for 2 minutes and this helped for a few thousand Kms or miles I then disconnected the batteries overnight and then hooked them back up and this has worked for 4 months and 18000 kilometers (about 12500miles now).

Ok, no reply on the last one...
Drove the truck over 10hrs this weekend. Ambient temp didn't seem a factor, but I did notice that 90% of the time, the CHIME didn't register the Lamp Out indicator. When the LAMP OUT indicator did come on, it was usually just a flash or two.
Any suggestions?

it maybe a loose wire in the connecter. Or along the harness. Check the light bar connecter anf all the connections into it. Then check to make sure that the light bulb is fitting securly into the socket.

you know when you remove your tail light to replcae the bulb and you have that grey socket block that the bulbs actually plug into. Check all the connections on it. Especially where the bulbs plug into. Some of these are shorting out.

Should I be concerned that I am getting "The Ding" even though the "Lamp Out" indicator doesnt always come on? Should I continue to troubleshoot the lamps? I was thinking I am going to end up having to disassemble the dash.
