I posted awhile back about going in for my 30K mile maintenance and the dealer flushed and filled my rear dif.

I went in 3K later for a $39 oil change with coupon and the mechanic reported a rear dif front seal leak.

I figured the earlier flushing had done something to cause the leak but was a tad more upset over the $100 deductible they charged, I was at 36,600 miles!


Anyway, I saw their point, paid and left.

Come home today and wife shows me $100 reimbursement from OC Dodge for the deductible.


I'm really impressed they took it upon themselves to review it and noticed either how little I was out of warr or that possibly the previous service had caused the leak.
