want to put a small leveling/lift kit on my 2008 6.7L Megacab--Don't do any major off roading, this lift is for looks only as I want to put some 35s on the rig. I want something I can do myself and hopefully just bolt on...don't have any experience or want to have to cut/weld anything--I was leaning towards the Kore HP Kit -- and mods needed to install this kit? thanks.

 

I just installed this system on my truck. It was a very simple install. I took my time and it was done in about 3 hours by myself. I think the ride is a bit more stiff but it does reduce body roll considerably. For the price it is tough to beat. I did install a Thuren track bar, that is the only other modification I made with the kit.

 

was everything bolt on? Any fabrication or cutting or welding? Can a guy do with regular tools in the driveway?

 

No fabrication, cutting or welding. I did mine with regular tools in my garage. I would say it was a lot easier than my F250 with leaf springs. If you have any mechanical ability it should be pretty easy.

 

Like my KORE setup a lot! Rides really nice with the Fox remote reservoir shocks!

 

It was installed for me & my mechanic was very impressed with it.
Next week the Thuren track bar goes on. Do not hesitate to get
the Kore kit ... You will be happy!

P.S. : If you're adding 35's I highly recommend four Bilstein 5100's.
The ride improvement over stock is very noticeable!!!!!

 

what does the thuren track bar do?

 

adjustable track bar that lets you re-center your axle, and gives you MUCH better bushings than stock (rebuildable too).
