Know where to find a 2004 CTD?
Know where to find a 2004 CTD?
Man I've been looking all over and am having the hardest time locating a decent mileaged (60,000+/-), good condition, long bed, 6 speed, 4x4, 2003 or 2004 CTD.
I check Autotrader just about daily and craigslist for most major cities and rarely come across these trucks. The one I did just find, sold so quick I didn't even get to look at it. The others are priced so high because the people selling them are asking what they owe, not what they are currently worth.
I'm willing to travel to the country to get the right truck but mostly I've been looking within a 1000 mile range from Spokane, WA.
Any ideas on where else to look?
I'm not in a huge hurry, my truck only has 57,000 miles and is in good shape but trucks like mine are a dime a dozen.

Don't know it this will help but.... There are a couple of search engines for use with craigslist. They allow you to search all the listings at once on a state by state basis or just certain cities. They're much quicker than looking one city at a time.

found 4 within 500 miles of me 2 2500 and 2 3500 with what you are searching for under 75k and less then 25k. if you need a texas zip code to look around here then you can use mine its 78028
I was recently in your same position. I had an early model 2004 that met your criteria with 55,000 miles on it and made a huge mistake by selling it....it did not stay on the market very long!! I then started searching Autotrader nationwide for a late model 2003 or early 2004 using the same criteria that you are. I finally found the truck in my signature in Enumclaw WA. Me and a friend of mine flew out there and drove the truck a little over 1800 miles back to Missouri. I think I'll hold onto this truck for a long time!
There all over the place here. College Station on Craigs. Lawrence marshall dealership in Hempstead Tx goes thru alot of them. Also dealers in Brenham Tx goes thru alot of them. Something like Appel. Don't just look at Dodge dealerships. Our Ford used lot always has a couple of CTD's. Varstity Ford.
