The deer whistles only work when properly mounted and when driving over 40 MPH. I have not had much luck with them, so I installed an ebay special Bambi Buster. I think it was like $200.00 delivered in black powder coat. I forget what brand it is. NO I have not hit any deer yet, but the guard was less than my deductible.

A cheap flimsy grill gaurd is all but gauranteed to wreck fenders and hood upon impact with deer. I installed a FabFours replacement. Check out my pics in the gallery!

No problem, I was just being fascecious(sp?). That bumper is all aluminum and weighs less than 80 lbs - I could do arm curls with it.

All the bumper and grill guard in the world didn't help me... I hit the binders when I saw him and the durn thing still ran out and hit me. Right in the drivers side front fender/door seam. Pushed in the fender so I couldn't open the door and dented the rear door bottom bouncing back...

Can we get the deer union to strike?
