Yeah, the push button would kinda defeat the purpose of the remote start.

 

You could put the push button thing on before the connection for the remote start. As far as an failsafe starter kill setup, Directed Electronics makes one for the 05-07 5.9L Rams. These are under 100 dollars and they are simple to install. They are installed in the fuse box under the hood and its simple as two connections and swapping out the fuel pump relay!!
