It may be hard to get what it is truely worth, only becuase there are such good deals on new ones right now. But you may be able to sell that fact that it still has the proven 5.9l....

I think you'd get the most for it if you put it back to stock and parted out the rest...

I don't know about down south but up here 5.9 Megacabs are hard to find for sale...there's lots of people who don't want the 6.7...

I'd put it back to stock too. Part the extras out, better return there than on the truck. There are a lot of guys in the market for the 2006 5.9, they don't want the 2007 5.9's because of the ECM changes. The ECM was designed more for the 2007.5's with the 6.7 and have a few no so easily solved quirks regarding power (box) upgrades. Also, many do not want the environmental add-ons. You really have a goldmine of a truck. As soon as all the 2007 5.9's are gone you will have a sellers market for sure.

.....but to the company I work for! They are going to buy it from me for me to drive and pay for all expenses.

Anyway, KBB on my truck is about $36k, Edmunds is $33k.

That would suck. But since this is a small family business, I don't have to worry about it.

Yep, we are Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors. I wear a lot of hats, but these days I wear them all while sitting behind a desk.

I don't think you'll have any problem at all selling it. The ECM changes between yours and a 07 are very insignificant. There's plenty of boxes that can be used.

If you have the Laramie... you really have a gold mine. There's plenty of 5.9L left out there but, there's almost NO Laramie Mega's in a 5.9L if any at all new.

Ebay is always an option.... one like your was just listed on there that sold for over 40K I believe.

Good Luck!
