Just got a new to me 2005 3500... But, it only came with a single key and key FOB. I would like to get a couple spares of each and was going to just buy:

I would prefer to go with the second option, has anyone changed from the first style to the second?

 

i got those cheap key fobs in your second pic. went to a locksmith and them cut and program them for me. i havent had any issues with them, but they dont work that well from a distance.
