Hoss is right. Take it in to the dealer. It may well be your clutch. But you really do not want to replace the engine if you can avoid it.
You would probably loose the truck for a good while waiting for the engine to arrive and then the install. And, they probably would not provide you a loaner.

Re:It just started KNOCKING???
Supposedly what makes this engine so quiet is split-shot injection. If a bad injector decided to NOT do the split-shot thing, maybe that cylinder would revert to the old, loud idle of '02 and before.
I doubt that it's lower end problems. Once they start knocking, they rarely quit. My guess is that it's something with the injection system, or as someone else suggested, clutch noise.

You got a bad tank of fuel. First thing I thought of, can't believe nobody said it. Every once in a while I get a bad tank, and the engine sounds like there are marbles in it at idle, and it smokes a bit more. Fill up somewhere different, or add fuel additives.

I just got the oil changed at Wal-Mart and they put in Dello and a Fram oil filter. I saw on the TDR FAQ that they don't recommend the Fram Oil filter??

Knock that Fram outa there!
Bam Bam, I hope you're kidding about the Fram on there. If you have one, remove it immediately! Frams are the worst POS you can put on any engine especially a Cummins. They are not a Cummins approved filter! The material can break down and flow through the passages and clog a piston cooling nozzle and kill a piston (symptom is knocking). Not to scare ya but I'd get it changed out. I've read of 4-5 instances of guys losing a cylinder this way, always a Fram filter.

XcumminsX, if you want the best filter, go with Fleetguard, particularly Stratapore. You can get these at big truck shops or any retailer selling Cummins stuff. Or order online from www.genosgarage.com.
Other than that I would go with the Motorcraft, Purolator and AC Delco filters listed in the TSB.

bambam,
I hope you are kidding too ...never, I repeat NEVER use a fr** oil filter on anything you own. Not even the lawn mower!
Saw the results of one losing it's media in a motorcycle one time. That was enough for me to avoid them like the plague. That was at least 10 yrs ago.
Please do yourself and your engine a favor; put FLEETGUARD stratapore filter on your truck ($8.95).
edit\\\
I was slow on that one....

Fleetguard stratapore seems to be the best choice out there. Why be cheap with such an expensive truck. Fram=crap, to reiterate that one more time.
Suing wal-mart? I hope you are kidding... :
