Congrats Luke, welcome back to the "dark side."

I'm curious though why you're dropping the DMax. I just went cruising around in a '03 DMax Silverado and was I fairly impressed with it. My coworker is about to drop serious coin for it.

I'm anxious for my new '03 to get here. Last check it just crossed into Kansas on its way to Washington State

Vaughn

Re:Joining the ranks again!

I love the Duramax engine, and especially the Allison tranny. But what I do not love is the harsh ride, sloppy steering, and inadequete brakes of the 1-ton crew cab dually 4x4. These things have waaaaay to short of tires on the 1-ton's and they ride like poop i have had 5 of these Chevy's now and they are good trucks, but compared to the Dodge, they definetely lack in a lot of the areas I mentioned above. The Dodge lacks a little in the auto tranny category but I can make that trade for the nicer ride, steering, braking, seats, looks, and a few other things. If Dodge had the tranny that the Chevy has, and had a back seat as big as the Chevy, they would be the best selling truck on the road. I really like both trucks, but until Chevy puts some taller wheels and tires on their 1-tons, and makes them ride and stop better, i will be driving Dodges. Now, back in the 01' and 02' model year, I think Chevy had Dodge beat, not that Dodges were bad, the truck was just getting old by then. But now with the quality of these 03's, the Dodge wins hands down in my opinion. 8) 8) 8)
