I had the same problem with the FM transmitter getting interference with my Ipod and simply bought a $10-$15 5ft cord with male headphone jack on each end from best buy and plugged it into the Aux port on the front of the head unit. I know its not integrated like most of you are looking for but it works much better than the FM tramsmitter. Sound quality is great. Much cheaper than the transmitter as well although I still use it to charge the Ipod. Just an option.

The problem with that is the Navigation and Infinity non-navigation radios don't have that aux input. Rediculous, if you ask me, to have an aux input on the base radio but not on the higher end systems.

oh sorry - didn't know that. That is dumb - if I have it you would think the better one would have it. Well good luck with that then!
