Interior Lights

Im having trouble with my interior lights. When i open my door they only stay on about 20 seconds and shut off, when i close the door they come on for another 5 seconds. They arent staying on near like they should and this just noticed it starting about a week ago. I checked my dial for my interior lights and its scrolled up far enough so I have no clue. Does anybody know how to fix it. Is it something small that I should be paying attention to and just let it slip my mind. Idk but its driving me crazy

In my feeble mind, it seems like if you diconnect the batteries for about 10 min. the reconnect them your light s will stay on. Like I say, don't remember for sure but it shouldn't hurt to try.

That works, mine was the same. I took it in for the ABS recall, they musta disconnected the battery, when I got it back the lights stay on a LOT longer.

You can also just open the black fuse box on the drivers side engine compartment and pull the bright yellowish green fuse for a few minutes. That shuts the power off to the truck and resets the computer.
