So my brother gets me the Recon interior bulbs for Christmas but I still have a stock dome light bulb. Looks kind of stupid to have two blue LED bulbs in the map lights and than a white, plain dome light. Problem is, the bulb is a 7679 size and I can't find that bulb size anywhere on the internet. I just want to buy a cheap bulb from Ebay or something. Any help on finding a comparable bulb to 7679 would be appreciated.

 

try a 921 same type of bulb.

 

How do you like them and how much brighter is the cab?

Donnee, kind of strange thing about these lights. #1, they are bright as hell at night. However, #2 - the map lights do not work now, only when the door is open or the switch is turned all the way up do they work. I have to leave the map light switch on in order for the lights to work. The LED's stay on very faint, faint enough that you would only notice it if you looked directly at it. They are nice, but not worth the $60 that Recon asks for them. You would probably be better off with a bulb from Ebay or Pep Boys. I will leave them installed because they were a Christmas gift from my brother.Just my honest opinion.

 

I typed in 921 on EBay and the bulbs look completely different. Am I looking at the wrong one?
