I have a friend here at work that is looking at a new 3500 automatic,4X4.. He wanted to know from you folks what type of fuel mileage that he can expect to get. The truck will have a 4:10 rearend...<br><br>He is selling all of his trucks...F550,F350 and a Ranger..and also a 40' car transport<br><br>Thanks<br>Rick

 

Best thing to do is a search on fuel economy here and you will come up with some information. 4x4 seems to lower fuel economy 2-4mpg if I remember correctly. Good luck

 

I had an 03 3500 4x4 drw quad cab, diesel, auto, with 4.10's and I could get about 15-17 empty and it would vary anywhere from 10-14 pulling. It only had 2500 miles on it when i got rid of it though so it wasn't even broke in.
