You should have an aux. port in your radio that allows to plug in the IPod. Of course you have to buy the accessory plug in for your IPod first. You can get them at Walmart or and big chain store.
Mine doesn't either. I asked this very question awhile back. Do a search on Ipod Aux Port - some fine gents provide info on what had to be done and where to get parts. I just haven't had the time to deal with that project since however.
FWIW
Not sure what accessories you have on your truck, but be aware that if you have the rear entertainment system and Sirius Sat installed, all the aux. input ports have been used.
If that's the case, I have read that you can buy an adapter with RCA cable outputs and plug it into the entertainment system, but I haven't confirmed it works. Another option would be one of the car kits that uses an FM signal.

This is the first I've heard that Mopar has a part. Most of the others available have mentioned that steering controls could not be used.

Has anyone actually done this IPAC-CHY installation on their truck yet? I went to one place to ask for this and they never heard of it. They had this other kit but they didnt recommend it as they say it didnt work. *why bother selling it then??*
Anyone north of the border try buying one of this up here without getting raped or is is better to order one from down south?

I haven't tried one yet, as I still collecting info like many others. However, I find it is usually better to order from down South on parts with little weight. The shipping weight is usually the killer on big stuff.
