Incentives

Anybody heard anything about the 04 incentives after 7/6/04. I'm waiting to see if they'll go more than the current $2500 rebate. I know there won't be a whole lot to choose from, but I'm not wanting to wait for an ordered 05 with no rebate.
Thanks

Ive heard rumors of a 4500$ rebate, but Im not sure how true it is.
Id buy now anyhow, even if it is just 2500... that still is a decent deal, as long as your dealer didn't mark up every truck on the lot. Mine stickered at 43k, and the dealer marked it up to 46k... but I walked out the door for 33.5k, only because I knew the fleet sales manager

Well I can hold out for a couple weeks if I can save another 2 grand or so. Of course I'm not going in without knowing the invoice on the truck I'm looking to buy either.

Definetly get some invoices.. It helps to be freindly with your local fleet Dept. When I bought my truck, I told them what I wanted, and had them fax me over some dealer invoices that met those specs.. I ended up paying 3k under dealer invoice, out the door..

Wow, 3k under invoice? What a deal. My local dealer told me he don't flash his invoices around. So I started looking elsewhere. Found a dealer 40miles from me that will show me the invoice on any truck I choose or order. I hope I can make a deal close to what you made. By the way, where is the best site to get an invoice price on a truck?

If you're willing to travel to St Louis you can get it 3% under invoice, PLUS all incentives. Tomeygun is a member of this board and the TDR. He's been fab with my truck.

Ditto on Tomeygun. No games, no trouble. I leave to go pick up my truck tomorrow. 7- 8 weeks wait, not bad, not bad at all.

I usually compare www.kbb.com (kelly blue book) and www.nadaguides.com for invoice information. They are usually close to dead-on in terms of dealer invoices for car+options costs. What you don't see is any after-sale cash that the dealer may get from the manufacturer. I'm inclined to think that dodge is giving the dealers $1000 or more per truck sold, since I'm hearing of people getting them for so much under invoice including buyer incentives. Dealers won't take a loss on a truck for anyone, especially in the middle of the year. I paid $2000 under invoice, which was $500 over invoice less the $2500 rebate in May. If you can show that anyone in your household is self employed or owns a business, you can get another $1000 off. LOL.

Let's see.... I got mine for invoice minus $1000. Minus $2500 rebate. Minus $750 Military. That's $4250 under invoice. Definately do your research! Couldn't stack the Farm Bureau with Military, but you can add the FB if you're not military - if they even have that still.

Try www.newdodgeorderform.com for tomeygun. I don't believe the rebates for the diesel will change. They sell too well. The Hemi's will probably have an increase, but don't expect the Cummins to rise.

The '05's rebates will probably begin to dry up at the first of the model year, so the '04's would be a good buy right now while they are on the dealer lots.

I have a control # for a "friend's discount" to buy at 1% under invoice. Was wondering if the $500 farm bureau discount and the rebates can be used with this? Man, if we only new if the rebates will go up after 7/6/04. Thanks for any help.

I got mine with the "Friends" discount and still got the $2500 rebate. I decided not to wait for any possible rebate increase and took the truck that had what I wanted on it.

Interest rates are going up as well, I'm sure there will be price increases on the '05 models. Better get on the stick and get your truck today!
