Change in '03 Incentives

As you are aware, Dodge's current Incentive Program was set to expire on Nov. 4th. And, it offered nothing on the 2500/3500's other than a Lease Loyalty incentive. That all changed today:

From the official Dodge website-

"Ram 2500/3500
11/02/2002 to 12/04/2002 Cash $1,000"

It just gets better and better for those of us still waiting for our trucks! (mine will be here next week) I predict the next incentive cycle will include increased cash (2-2.5 Gs) or 0% interest to match other makes.

Best to y'all
Bill

Utah,<br> Does this new incentive apply if you have already ordered your truck? An extra grand sure would not hurt my feelings ;D<br>Latter,<br>The Boss Hog<br>D1 forever<br>

$1000 cash is tempting, I doubt I can use it in combination with my Farm Bureau $500 rebate.<br><br>%0 interest would get me to the dealer in a hurry given I'd be financing quite a bit of it. That would be worth more than $1000 and personally I'd be surprised to see it. Hope Ford and GM keep it up a little longer, put the pressure on <br><br>Vaughn

Re:Change in '03 Incentives

Ouch that news is painful!! Just bought mine a week ago! I was strongly considering a purchase, but really wanted to wait. Then I got an owner loyalty rebate in the mail for $500, and that put me over the top. If I could have waited another week, I could have gotten another grand!! But the temptation was too great. :'(<br><br>Still, I love my truck! ;D

Yeah - you can only wait so long... ;D<br><br>I know if I were to wait 'till the end of December (or early January) they'll be even better deals. But, I do need and want the truck sooner than that. Oh well...<br><br>Best to y'all<br>Bill

Re:Change in '03 Incentives

Buying any new vehicle is a always a gamble. There are so many factors which influence the price, bottom line. You try to time it to get the best deal. Alas, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. <br>It is like going to a Las Vegas Casino. Nothing is a sure bet. Some people go there knowing the odds are stacked in favor of the house, yet the lay down hundreds or even thousands hoping the next bet will win a jackpot.com. <br>I ordered my 03 Ram in June, didn't take delivery until Oct 8th. I aranged the best deal I could. Never worry about what might have been, the energy it takes is wasted. Never say, &quot;I should have doen this or that.&quot; Instead say, &quot;next I'll have learn from this experienced.&quot;<br>I've made some dumb mistakes in my life, I'm still learning. I sure hope I don't repeat any of those mistakes.

Re:Change in '03 Incentives

Ordered mine a few weeks ago. Came off the line 10/30. Dealer told me that any rebates, etc. that came in before the truck arrived would be passed on to me. Truck won't be here for a few weeks so I guess I'll get the grand. That'll buy the camper shell.

Re:Change in '03 Incentives

The owner loyalty rebate I received in the mail from DC itself. I have purchased four DC products over the last few years, and financed them all through chryslerfinancial. My accounts have stayed in good standing, so I guess that is why I got the offer in the mail.

Re:Change in '03 Incentives

My dealer told me if I ordered now but my truck didn't arrive 'til after Dec. 4th I'm OK; if something BETTER comes after Dec. 4th and I haven't taken delivery, then I get that incentive. I am seriously thinking about ordering Dec. 3rd

Business Incentive question: What did you have to do to quality for that? I do have a business license which I &quot;practice&quot; occasionally to keep it active (about $500-$700 a year is all). Guess I'll call the dealer. If I could get that + Farm Bureau + Cash Back I'd be sitting pretty

Re:Change in '03 Incentives

Basically a federal ID number or a tax number will get it for you, he even said a CDL # will work. Seems to me the business one ended on Sept 30th, that is why I ordered mine that day, don't know if they extended it or not.
