Wink I'm so embarrased

This is the first long tow for my truck and I must say compared to what some of you guys are dragging around, I feel a little inferior. But dang can this thing pull.

Had to move my girlfriend from NJ to NC so she can pursue her DR in physical therapy and exercise science. And this is what I looked like going down the highways

Go ahead, make fun now

You may need some airbags for a load like that. Your truck looks great ,and I bet you hardly felt athe load.

You need a lower ball drop to make it look at least level (lol), but to be honest that is about the extent of my towing loads also. I know the boat and snow mobile trailers are hard to even know they are there.

I hope this makes up for it....

If anyone ever decides to rent one of those embarrasing little U-Haul trailers, heres a little tidbit of info.... To go from Piscataway NJ to Burlington NC was over $500 one way, unlimited mileage and days... If I brought the trailer back to NJ, the cost was $80 for the first day and $20 each day after, unlimited mileage. The trip cost me around $180 total as opposed to the $500. Seems crazy to me but check the prices, you could save yourself a ton of money.

I think it depends on where and which way you are traveling. To go from Las Vegas to Oakhurst, CA was 180 dollars. The reverse trip was400 dollars.

It makes up for it for me. Nice boat, I use to have a 21 foot Welcraft with outdrive that looked a lot like that. I miss that boat and the fishing I used to do.

Oh, is that a trailer? I thought it was just a really ugly receiver cover.

Nice boat!

That's not a trailer, that's a truck dingleberry.

No pics, but now you guys know how I feel when I pull our little pop-up camper trailer (very heavy at 1800 lbs!) with my 3500 dually. If it weren't for the AC sticking up just a little above the tailgate, I would never see it or know it was gone!

I pulled a pop-up through DC and forgot I had it with me...not good in traffic. It was new from the factory and didn't have an A/C unit for me to see. No dings...I got away with it this time.

You need one of those orange flags like the guys with recumbent bikes use!

Im not going to make fun of it because the first haul I made with mine was a 6X12 from Denver when I moved my sister back here to Cal.
DW kept asking how the trailer was doing.
I said"What trailer?"
The only time I really felt it was on freeway overpass bumps.

I wish I had pictures of what I pulled but I think I can beat you on that one.

I needed to haul my Brothers Subaru Justy (1980's something) back to my house to do some body work on it. It was about 100 miles one way and I used a car Hauler which just puts the front tires on the hauler. I think the car weighs in at 1500 lbs, if that. It's only a 3 cyl type of SMALL car. I bet it would've fit in the back bed if we had a way to get it there. Even with the hauler, had problems putting the tires straps on as it only has 12" tires on the car. Looked funny as heck going down the road. Could barely see it in my mirrors to make sure it was still there.
