Question If you installed a leveling kit, do you clear the 315s now?

I have talked to people who speculate that clearing the 315s isn't necessarily a height issue, but a combination of other things. Do you now clear the 315s with the extra 2-2.5"? Thanks.

35's

i have a 2.5" leveling springs and the only rub is on the control arms at full lock. I have BFG. 35/12.5R17 Mud terrains that are just a hair taller and wider.

I have had no problems with my 315's. The only time it rubs is when they hit my mud flaps in a turn in reverse. Other then that I love them!!!

No problems here, don't buy the 315 hummer tires, JUNK! worn out in 15000 miles. Get the muds or the 35-12.5-17 at's. Even though the 315's are at's they have not lasted like other sets I've had. I think they're maybe a cheaper compound w/ no white letters. Remember the cheapest bidder gets "like a rock"s business, just like the el cheapo's dodge puts on these trucks, bfg donuts...........

The rubbing issue is a combination of the tire and wheel. I tried a couple of wheel combinations - Weld Stone Crusher 17x9 w/ BFG 35x12.5x17 MT - they did not rub on inside but the offset puts them way too far outside the fender for me and the MT was way to close to bumper and they destroy the mud flaps. I like the looks of the MT's better than the AT's but the MT's tread is taller and too close for my liking. I went with American Racing Python 17x8 on BFG 315 AT's - they only rub slightly on the mud flaps at full turn but doesn't hurt anything. Also, the AR Python has the best off-set and backspacing (closet to stock) of any wheel I could find on the market, other than Boyd Codington custom wheels (which were to rich for me).

I have the H2 takes-offs with the tires. No lift, no rubbing. I think the H2 wheels have the optimum offset/backspacing.
