I found my power steering leak (I think)

Well for the past several months I've been chasing this **** leak down! Today I re-checked that all fittings were tight and they were. I know this leak is either coming from the reservior or the pump because I'll wipe everything dry and I'll see that everything on top is wet...when leaking. So I took of the driver side wheel liner and and checked all the fittings on the "T". I started messing with reservior and as I moved it back and forth, I could see it dripping at the bottom of the bracket where it mounts to the pump. I would rock it back and forth and the harder I did it, the more it would drip. Took the 4mm allen and tighnted the living snot out of it and it seems to have stopped the leak. I have heard about the cap issue and yes I cleaned that up as well.

Question, do you think my reservior is cracked since it seems to be leaking between that and the pump?...is that possible?

Well that didn't fix it. Still leaking a lot. Can anyone help me before I buy a new pump and reservoir?

Funny how common these leaks are on these third gens and no one has any advise.

Yes I've used the search function and I didn't find any answers.

I would clean it up with something like brake cleaner (stay away from electrical) then put baby power on it, and let it idle for a little while. That should help pin-point the leak.

Most likely it's leaking at the seal between the reservoir and the pump. Just need to replace the o-ring seal between the two.
