how often are you rotating your tires?

I just had my 35" Pro Comp Extreme AT's rotated for the first time. I went about 4500 miles before the first rotation. Being directional, they get rotated only front to back. They seem to be wearing GREAT. Almost 5k miles on them now, and they don't look hardly worn at all. I am impressed with them. Just curious if it would be beneficial to increase the rotation mileage, to like every 3000 miles instead of 4500 or 5000 miles.

I rotate mine with every oil change which use to be every 3,000 miles. Now that I'm over 10,000 miles I'm extending the oil changes to every 5,000 miles so the tires will get the same treatment.

I rotate the tires every 10k as well. Not sure what the service manual calls for though.

I balance and rotate between 6-8k. 4wheelparts does mine for free so I have no excuses. It definitely prolongs tire life and keeps ride smoother over the life of the tires.

Good deal guys. I think I am going to keep rotating every 5k or so, just to keep them wearing evenly. My local shop only charges me $12.00 to do it... A lot better than me doing it with a jack and the factory lug wrench on my parking deck

5K for me, and a free re-balance at the same time. Have the free rotation and protection package from America's tire.

I rotate mine every 5k. If I go any farther it corners the steers more than I like.

With those treads. The more frequently the better. I always rotated my goodyear mtr's every 3-3500k and got as much as 45k out of them. Now I have a set of nitto terra grapplers and treat them the same and have around 50k on them now with around 10-15k left. The tires will thank you with life. And as you said its only 12.00 so why not. It's cheap insurance.

I like to buy all my tires from Discount Tire, because they rotate them for free..........I guess as often as you like. I usually try to go every 5k...but sometimes I get busy or skip it till 10k.

at the rate i'm at now it will be 30,000. i should see 50,000 out of this set unless i start abusing them. some guys i know do it every 7500 or so, others just buy 2 new tyres at a time (fronts to rear, new ones go to the front) 2 of his original set made it over 90,000 miles. everyone has a different thing, i rotated quite often with past vehicles.

I've been rotating every 5,000 miles, but it's because they are Toyo MT tires. AT tires I rotated every 10,000 to 15,000 miles.
