How much would a 04 dodge 1 ton 2wd diesel be worth. It is wrecked. a Tree fell on the cab but didn't hurt or get the engine. The engine has about 80,000 miles on it.

 

How bad is the damage?

 

well the cab is bad. i haven't seen pictures of it yet but i was told this. The price he told me was around $2000.00 i know its worth that, but what could i get out of the engine and drive train

 

there was a fella on here last month that changed most of the cab and bed metal from another wreck, and it looked fantastic. but i cannot remember the link.

2k......i would jump on that! you can get 3x that is just parts if you sell them individually

 

whats the motor worth

 

for 2k you should definitely jump on that deal, dependant on whats damaged. I have seen used 24v CRDs for 4-5k+ alone, plus you still would have a bunch of other parts like the rest of the drivetrain to use or part out, and any body parts remaining.
