how much power
how long does our trucks have to stay plugged in to use 1 kilowatt of power
i know there was a formula disscussed at one time but i forgot how to figure it

If you are that worried about it then you need to get a HEMI
Stop being cheap and plug the darn thing in.
I haven't seen any difference in my electric bill and if I do then I'll just turn off one of my computers

I believe the heater is somewhere around 750 watts, so if that is the case 1000/750 = 1.33 hours to burn one Kw. In other words it's costing you about 6 or 7 cents every hour and a third.

your power company bills you in Kilowatt Hours, so if what jawmail says is correct you will get billed 6 to 7 cents every 1.3 hours your truck is plugged in.
