how much power is to much??

does any one have a rough estimate of how much power i can add to my truck before i need to make seriuos upgrades i.e heavy duty clutch, head studs, drivr shaft etc. i have heard that the 13" clutch that is in the nv5600 is pretty stout and it takes a lot to damage it. i also was told that my heads bolts are fine until i move up to a twin turbo set up. for now i am going to install a edge juice w/attitude. what power level do i need to stay under to enjoy "safe" power?

Retorque your head blots, not sure the specs. Run it as hard as you think your clutch can take it! Not sure about settings, but whatever feels good to you is probably a good decision!

Eventually something is going to let loose and you will know it was to much!

I have a NV5600 with a Valair HD clutch. I just bought a Smarty with REVO and at 180hp extra it does not slip at all.

Well I was empty, I assume if I load 10,000lbs on trailer it will slip for sure.

I'd say with a small box (Edge EZ, Quad XZT, etc) you shouldn't have anything to worry.

Not sure about your clutch...

But your head bolts will be fine until you start makin' over 50#'s of boost...

You will have to play around with your Edge to find out what level your truck will allow...

Don't let your EGT'S run over 1400* for very long, or engine damage will occur...Edge's are known to run kinda hot.

Talking

IMO you have too much power when you touch the throttle and snap your tailshaft. Thats too much.

Nooo...........

You just need to be more gentle on the throttle.

I used to tell my customers, "You can always lift".
