How much can it handle?

How tough are these front ends? I was driving a flooded dirt / gravel road yesterday, about 20 mph or so, and hit a washed out ditch in the road. It felt like I hit a curb or something big like that head on. What are the chances I bent something up front? It seems to be drifting left a bit now, but I'm not sure if it is, or if it's my head thinking it's new when it isn't.

The loud thud / bamb noise was bump stops I'm sure, but now I'm paranoid I bent something. I really am leary of all alignment shops, and of course the "dealers".

The axle itself is pretty stout, but any front end made is liable to get out of kilter with a hit like that. Find an alignment shop you can trust to check it out.
