how many people have trucks that ordered after 12/21/02 ?
Taking a little survey to attempt to build a fire under someone to build my stinking truck. Apparently after two months the only thing done is paper work - it hasn't even started down the assembly line. >

Don't despair, KTM. Mine was ordered 12/24, and spent 3 weeks in the "order edit" status (status "D"
. At the end of January it finally showed as D1 (gateline) with estimated ship date of 2/10. That did not change until 2/12, when it showed still D1 but estimated ship was no date (empty). On the 14th, it showed no estimated ship, with "in paint shop" (status "F". When I called on the 19th, it was on 2nd rail in transit between Laredo and Dallas, so it had acutally shipped from the factory on the 10th, but the status updates lagged behind the actual work done. It appears to me that once it goes D1 with estimated ship date, then the ship date goes blank, it has probably already shipped even though the staus codes haven't caught up with reality yet. Hang in there. Mine was unloaded from the final rail car destination yesterday afternoon (2/20). I will have it in possession before the end of next week.

Placed order at dealer on 01/06/03. Shipped 02/18/03. Currently on a rail car headed toward Warren, MI. Supposed to be passing through IL. on 02/22/03 late night. Dont' know when it will arrive at dealer but dealer is very close to Warren. It's getting very close now. The excitement is building but so is the realization that I'm going to have to pay for this thing soon.

I know there are a few others - but I've written a couple of them down...about a dozen trucks built and delivered while mine still sits on paper only :'(....going to give it until mid-week and then start tracking down a regional sales rep to build a fire under someone. This is pretty redicioulus.

As I stated above I ordered mine 1/27. I called DC today and the truck got off the final train yesterday and should be trucked to the dealer within the next few days.
