Depending on the radio station they may not display the titles, only the radio station info. Pushing the info button should verify this.

Have to toggle the 'Info' button to display the song title and artist.

My 07 doesn't display the titles either. If your radio doesn't have an info button, them the chances are you don't have a stereo that will display titles.

My 07 doesn't have an INFO button, but it does have an iPod jack. The 07 radios that have an info button don't have an iPod jack.

On the 06+ trucks, the base model CD player that comes with the standard audio setup has the aux port in the lower corner of the headunit and is not capable of displaying artist/track info. The upgraded CD player that comes with the 6-disc changer and/or Infinity sound system and does NOT have the aux port in the lower corner has the "info" button instead and is capable of displaying artist/track info. If you wanted to keep an OEM radio in the truck but be able to display artist/track info you would need to swap one of the upgraded stereos into the truck. You will lose the aux port on the front, however. You could always put an aftermarket headunit in the truck that will do both as another option.

On the 04 1500 I had it would display the name of the song on all the regular FM radio stations. I only had the regular radio w/ a cd and tape player in it, and no Sirius. In my 06 I have the in-dash navigation w/ 6 disc cd player, but it will only reliably display song titles while it's on Sirius. It's never done it right with the regular FM stations, which leads me to believe it has something to do with compatibility changes between previous-05 and 06-newer.
