How accurate is you overhead???
My overhead average mileage is 4-4.5 mgp high, which makes it useless. Dealer did "song and dance" around any way to correct. How accurate is your's and have you had any luck getting it more accurate.
Mine was accurate before I had the lasted and greatest flash done. I am now reading 20.6 MPG and accutally getting 18.5 MPG. So, the flash is the reason and the dealership can't do anything about that. IT's a Dodge thing so to speak. Dealers have to use the latest flash they have been given. If you have a box on it that will also throw off the overhead.
Mine read 1.5-2mpg low, then with the Quad S install it became more accurate, the last flash it's about 4-5mpg high. When the O/H says 23+mpg, I know it's off. But man, I'd love to show some hippies that stat and watch their world collapse as I told them my curb weight.
Just completed a 2500 mile round trip pulling my 5er to Gettysburg, PA, from lower Alabama... overhead averaged 12.5 mpg and my hand calculation for the trip was 12.39. Stock truck 'cept for the exhaust and air cleaner.

Depends on what level I run my BDTD on, normally it reads about 1.5 MPG less than actual, when I run Crazy Larry the overhead is about 5mpg high, wonder if that's why so many people claim CL gives the best mileage?
When it tells me that I have 2400 miles on my truck, when in actuality I have over 24000, it can't be all that accurate. The temp is pretty much right on the odometer as you can see is waaaaayyyy off, and my mileage reads 2-3 on the high side always.

so I haven't tested it recently.
