Hit 20mpg last night

I know nobody cares, but.....

I hit 20.3 mpg, hand calculated, last night, over a 234 mile trip.

I am happy about it, as you maybe can tell..

I too hit 20.5 MPG last night, although on the overhead I am still glad to see these numbers. It has almost 3K on it so hopefully it will keep going up.

Well, I have been an advocate of this club for awhile now...all you have to do is never shift above 1000 RPM, never drive over 45MPH, and fudge a little on the math....of which I have never done, so of course, 20+ MPG I have never gotten.

I just got 19.84mpg on a 277 mile trip traveling at 65-66mph the entire trip except about 30 miles at 60mph. I was very happy about that because I just started hand calculating and I'm getting much better than my overhead reads. My overhead read 17.9 when I got home, then I calculated it almost 20, I was really happy.

Yeah, right now we're paying much more frequent dues to belong to a different club.

Even better than fudging the math, is being light on the skinny pedal. I just completed an 1800 mile trip, average for the trip was 18.8, best leg was 21.74 over 445 miles. ALL hand calculated, no fudging.
Keep in mind I have been part of yet another club, the vibration club. (but it is fixed now.) So I have learned to keep the speed under 68. THAT is how you get good mileage. EDIT: I am currently NOT running the H2 wheels and nittos in my sig. Stcok aLL the way right now except the tone ring mod and a swiss cheese airbox.

I get close to that. Consider that a good number at that speed!

My overhead has not learned how to tell the truth, yet, 22684 miles so far and still lying. It says the mpg is 18.3

The overhead is nothing more than a guess-o-meter. I use my trusty pocket calculator.

Can't get better than 13.8-14.1 and that is babying it all while driving at 40-50 mph and staying at 65 or below on the interstate. Just towed my 5ver on a 300 mile round trip and averaged a whopping 7.8 mpg, granted I was going over 70 mph the whole trip.
