Henson Motors Comes Through!!!
Y'all, I have this incredible grin on my face right now. Larry Cooper of Henson Motors called me back today about a 2007 3500 dually Laramie on his lot. He gave me a price over the phone that dropped my jaw! It was $2000 less than any dealer would give me in the Dallas area. It was even less than some dealers were giving on an SLT. On top of that, he is giving me within $600 of what I owe on this POS Ford I currently own.
He even offered to drive it to me. Needless to say, I am very pleased by this transaction. The wife and I are taking off Wednesday to drive to Madisonville to get the truck and sign the papers.
I will be uploading picts Wednesday or Thursday.
Now I have to see about getting the external tank removed from the Ford so that it can be installed in the Dodge. I also need to get a liner installed. What's the consensus here......Line-X or Rhino?

My 07 is white with a black Line-X...looks good to me. I got my '99 from Henson. They are pretty good to deal with. Would have gone there again, but I went through my leasing company this time...got an even better deal.
Congrats on the new ride.

I have seen Rhino Liners, whether due to installing it wrong or what I don't know, but I have personally peeled it off the vehicle with my thumbnail and after three years the same liner was weatherfaded and cracking. I have had a Line-X for a year now, and it has faded just enough to notice, but I haven't been able to scratch, crack, or peel it at all, and I throw complete engines and transmissions in the back and slide them around a lot. It cost me $500 for an over the rail job.

My 2002 SLT+ Sport dually is bright white with the tan leather interior. I went with black over-the-rail Line-X which works great with the black finish aluminum WeatherGuard 5th wheel toolbox.

Thanks guys. That's good to know. I have a local Line-X dealer that gave me a $520 quote to do over the rails and the entire long bed. I think I'll let him do it in black.

Love my rhino.... second one I've had. Line-x is too hard and doesnt' hold things in place like rhino does.
I guess some places just may not know how to install it..... It is garented tho so if it did start to lift or pill, make them redo it. The last rhino I had was on the truck for 7 years. No one issue other than a little fading over those years. Wasn't horable fade, just what's to be expected for being in the sun for that long.
Main thing to me is Rhino = 's nothing slides around in your bed period!
