Help - talk me out of it!

I have the truck in my signature. It has approx. 58,000 miles. I am getting a wild hair about getting a new truck. I do like the new Cummins with the exhaust brake. My truck is in excellent shape and I really do like it. I have contacted a couple of local dealers and told them I would probably trade if my payments would be the same. Am I crazy?

Crazy! 1) Buy an aftermarket exhaust brake. 2) Your current truck is going to get better fuel economy over the new 6.7 Cummins, hands down. I'd keep the one you have. Just my two cents though...

Thanks, for the input. I have been debating about this all day which tells me I have doubt about buying a new truck. I think I will just keep my present truck.

Keep it and be happy. I plan on keeping my '06 for 200-300k miles. I'm at 38k now!

BTW...you may keep the same payment, but you are resetting the clock.

If the truck doesn't have issues and works well for what are doing with it, keep it!

You better keep your mental health papers in hand in case someone comes knocking at your door asking for them!!!!

I agree with the others. You will be happier with your current truck. Just my .02 If you really have the urge for a new truck go get an exhaust brake and some other goodies and call it a "new" truck

Yes you would be crazy to get rid of your truck.

Buy an aftermarket exhaust brake.

Get out of payments as soon as possible.

You would be ****** if you traded your reliable truck for a lemon.

Keep it! My "05" is at 64K, has been trouble-free. And best of All, has only ten more payments left. Dealers ALWAYS undervalue the credit they give on trade-ins.

After the last payment will then be time for some nice treats for my girl. Oh yeah and for the wife too.
