In doing a search some time ago, I found a thread where someone was complaining about the transmission hunting for gears when towing.

A member had a 'fix' for his tranny where he did a mod so he could select the gear with his automatic transmission and keep it there.

Anyone know this mod or thread?

Sounds like a cool mod. Hopefully someone will find it.

 

You could always put a manual valve body in it. I know thats what Joe Hellman did to his drag truck
