Got my Prototype Finished!
Brainstorming ways to dress up as well as protect my front end. As you can see the sand and rock laden roads in the winter time out here take their toll on my bumper's finish (not to mention to windshield!!).
I run a graphics shop and am testing different materials to see how they hold up. This proto is only on paper but I received some thick laminate that I'll use on the final product along with a black background.
Enjoy the pics

Having lived nearby just outside of Conifer I understand what you're talking about. I've been thinking about getting some of that vehicle wrap material to install on the lower body area to protect my lower body panels from the rocks and gravel. I had planned to put a mountain and tree line design or another outdoors type design along the lower sides of my truck, but I never got around to it.
Anyway, I like your concept, but your design is confusing. Is it suppose to be a toothy grin or ? To me it looks a bit too loud / bold. I would think covering the whole bumper with a simple design might look better, but to each his own.
Good luck and let us know how it holds up to the Colorado winter weather and roads.

The idea isn't that originial, in the Mazda Miata world, there is a vendor who makes teeth for placing in the grill opening. I've seen a few at several gathering.

Why not just go with Line-X color matched finish and be done with it? We have the same problem in MT. I'm getting my front end replacement done in black wrinkle powder coat first. If that doesn't hold up I'll get bedliner sprayed on it.
BTW, I liked Reunel but that's one reason I discounted them. If I was to pay $2000 for a bumper, it at least has to be powder coated at a minimum not just painted. Their stainless is way out of price range.
