Tried the search but got nothing.
Truck won't start!!! Had to leave my daughter in the truck for a few mintues. When she got out she locked the door with the button on the door.
After our meeting we walked out to the truck and I unlocked it with the remote. Put the key in the ignition and turned it....everything lights up but the starter does nothing. No clicks...nothing.
Got back out of the truck and tried to lock it with the remote....won't lock or unlock.....and won't start.

Thanks. With your heads up on the sentry key issue I did another search here and found some info. Got a couple things to try....1) pull the fuse in spot 11 for a few seconds and 2) disconect both batteries for a bit. I did try both keys I had and no difference....so I think it's the truck and not the keys. The next wonderful thing about this is that during the bankruptcy, Dodge closed the dealership we had. At the local Hyundai dealership I now see a Dodge sign.....gives me lots of confidence that they have a qualified tech. Next nearest dealership is 50 milles away.
Thanks. Being in park was the first thing I checked....same with starting in neutral.....and wiggled the steering wheel.....had all those issues with vehicles past.
Remember...the doors would not lock/unlock using the remote last night.
Here's the update:
Still could not get the doors to lock/unlock using the remote this morning.
Unlocked the door using the key and of course the alarm starts up when I open the door. Alarm would not shut off using the key remote.
Disconnected the batteries. Waited a minute.
Reconnected the batteries. Alarm starts back up....but.....this time the alarm would shut off with the remote.
Doors would now also lock/unlock using the remote.
Key in the ignition....grid heater warmed her up....truck started like it was new.
So....now I'll wait and see if it does it again and always carry a 1/2" wrench.
Looking back about the whole scenario, the only thing that was any different about how I shut down before the thing happened was that I did not lock the truck with the remote when I walked away. My daughter locked it with the button on the door. Should NOT have had anything to do with it but who knows...maybe software error in the programming.

That's a little crazy. I wonder if there is a TSB or something. I recall my uncle having some door lock/remote issues with his new truck. We had good chuckle at his expense since he had traded in his '95 2500 QCLB 4x4 Cummins which was a 350k mile workhorse that wouldn't die.
