After finishing my guage install, I turned the light's on to see how pretty they were. I don't know if I'm imaging thing's or not, but it seem's like all the ****'s are not lit up completly. Maybe it was like that before and I never noticed. It's like I can tell where 3 bulb's are, and the rest is dark. The bright area's are:

High position on the fan ****
Cold position on the temp ****
Vent position on the selector ****

So, can you guy's go look at your's and see if they're the same,,,or am I nut's. Thank's

 

Come on guy's. I know it's cold out, but can't just 1 person go out and turn their light's on.

I wonder if it's simply an illusion? Since the gauges are so much brighter? You now have 3 bright white dials in what used to be a black hole..Maybe just seems like they are dim?

 

That's what I thought too at first. But if I cover up the gauge's with my hand, the ****'s are the same. Maybe some light is still getting out. I just had a brain storm. I'll go undo the ground wire for the gauge's and see what happen's. Thank's for the idea.

I just undid the ground wire's. Still seem's awfull dark. Guess I'll have to wait for someone with a 04 replies. Thank's for the Diesel Manor idea too.

 

Diesel Manor's back up. If you look at the one shot on the left you can see the ****'s are really lit up. I can't tell if that's the same as mine, but I'd have to say close enough. I think I have a problem.

 

just for giggles did you try adjusting the dimmer switch?

I would bet money on a bad ground some were not making a good connection what become of you checking your grounds? could you have pulled a ground some were loose while working in the dash?

Ah geez, I better go back and delete that link or I'm liable to get run off from the site. I thought it wasn't exactly like mine.

 

That don't look right to me. I'd say check your grounds and maybe check to see if you possibly broke one of the bulbs or something.
