Heated Mirror Connectors

Good Morning Gents

I had broken my '07 pwr, heated tow mirror the other day. I purchased a replacement glass, which had (4) electrical male connectors on both the flat(2) and convex(2) mirrors. It looks as though the truck is only 2 wire with 2 female conectors.

Am I missing something? Do I have to choose which mirror to heat? Maybe make jumper wires to heat both mirrors?

Has anyone swapped mirrors and have had the same problem.?

The mirror I broke had only connectors on the flat mirror(unknown manufacturer). New replacement mirror is OEM.

Thanks for any help you can send my way.

I know my tow mirrors don't heat the convex mirrors... I guess you could put a splitter on the wires and run both.

Thanks madhat;
I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
I purchased the truck used a few years back and the mirror housing had been cracked by the preivious owner. I wanted to make sure that there were only 2 wires from the factory for the heat and that it had not been retrofitted by PO during the last repair.

I have noticed my convex mirrors do stay fogged when the heat is turned on, so since I have it off anyway I might just make some jumpers/pigtails to heat them both. I figure why not the heater coils are there, right?

I have seen a few pics online of what appears to be diagrams from tech manuals that show such pigtails.

Thx again
