Can someone who has factory heated mirrors time how long they stay on, so I can find an appropriate timer for my towing mirror swap ?

I didn't realize that they shut themselves off. I know mine run for at least 10-15 minutes and are still on.

They should.....the one on my car for the rear glass shuts off in 10-12 minutes.

to my knowledge, and due to our limited winters here (non-existent this year) I believe that the timer on mine is around 12-15 minutes. They usually are clear in less time than that, but I have noticed that the light on the switch shuts down automatically in the timeframe listed above......Good Luck!!

They shut down atleast before 15 minutes. I'll turn them on before I leave for work, and they are usually off by the time I get off the highway, roughly 12 minutes. But I notice the glass is usually clear (except for the edges) around 5 minutes. I'd say a 10 minute timer would be plenty for just about anywhere.
